MCD-100A 6 Zone

The MCD-100A 6 Zone is a walk-through metal detector gate that divides the passage into six detection zones, from the calf area up to the head area. Overlapping mesh detection with dual-side emission and reception pinpoints where a metal object is carried, and the zone indicator on the panel shows the location with sound and light alarms. Sensitivity can be set per zone from 0 to 200, and password protection keeps settings from being changed by unauthorized users. It is suited to controlled entry points that need fast and precise screening.

  • Six-Zone Detection: Six overlapping detection zones, numbered 1 to 6 from bottom to top (calf, knee, hip, hip, shoulder and head areas).
  • Accurate Target Positioning: Dual-side emission and reception locate the detected object, and the position indicator lights show which zone triggered the alarm.
  • Sound & Light Alarm: An audible alarm combined with zone alarm indicators on the chassis panel gives a clear visual display of the target location.
  • Microprocessor Control: The controller generates scanning electromagnetic waves with precise control of scanning speed. Settings are adjusted from the control panel for flexible, reliable and stable sensitivity.
  • Adjustable Sensitivity: Each detection zone can be set independently from level 0 to 200, and the overall sensitivity can also be adjusted.
  • Reduced False Alarms: A composite circuit with an infrared scattering device senses quickly and recognizes targets automatically, reducing false alarms and missed detections.
  • Strong Anti-Interference: Digital pulse technology with a digital signal processing filter resists electromagnetic interference.
  • Password Protection: Only the correct password can change system parameters and sensitivity. Users set their own password, and a master password can unlock the device if it is forgotten.
  • Low Magnetic Field Emission: Meets current international safety standards, and the manufacturer states it is safe for pacemaker wearers, pregnant women, and magnetic media such as floppy disks, films and tapes.
  • High Stability: Resists collisions and impacts when not in use and is not affected by external factors during normal operation.
